The Computer Engineering program aims to prepare students with a solid background in Computer Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Mathematics, Electrics and Digital Electronics.
The great technological advances have as their main feature the computer, consisting of hardware (devices) and software (programs). However, the perception that a high-technology product has an embedded computer is not always evident. The field that explores this integration is known as Embedded Computer Systems.
The need for Computer Engineers is on the rise. Today, we frequently interact with a wide array of intelligent products and objects on a daily basis, thanks to embedded computers and software. This technology is prevalent in all modern equipment, and similar advancements are now being explored and implemented in humans.
The primary challenge of shaping this future lies with Computer Engineers. They possess the skills to create, analyze, design, and implement large-scale innovations that emerge from the intersection of various sciences and technologies.
